In 1996, an exciting
partnership began between Kentucky Baptists and the Greater Boston Baptist Association, expanding to all of New England by 2000. Maine, Vermont,
New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut,
and Massachusetts comprise the Baptist Convention of New England. The six states
together are just over half again as large as Kentucky, with a total population
of over 13,000,000.
With
199 churches in the convention, that translates to one congregation for every 65,000 people, over 75 percent of whom do not
know Christ. The harvest is waiting, and CCBA churches have an invitation to
help. Does God have a place for you in New England?
