WMU 2010-2011Emphasis Theme - Unhindered

Emphasis Watchword

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12: 1- 2 NIV

WMU highlights in the Church for 2010-2011

WMU will present challenges to all Christ followers in asking God to unleash His spirit in the world, to be leaders of influence who possess uncompromised integrity, to show courage in our calling and being engaged in our culture, and being passionate about God as we step out and take risks together. Preschoolers, children, students, and adults in WMU can be His instruments in leading the challenge.

Project  HELP  - Human Exploitation

Individuals, groups, and churches will be challenged to face hard issues related to human exploitation. Through education, inspiration, and participation, WMU asks Christ followers to reach out to victims, perpetrators, and others involved in this critical issue.
